The animals came off a farm where they were eating cultivated crops.

Applications must be submitted to the Arizona Game and Fish Department by U.S. mail to P.O. Box 74020, Phoenix, AZ 85087-1052 or hand-delivered to any department office by Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 by 7 p.m. (MST) - postmarks do not count.

Commission to consider elk and antelope hunt orders on Dec. 5 - Dec. 04, 2009
The Arizona Game and Fish Commission will consider and may vote to approve Commission Orders 3 (pronghorn antelope), 4 (elk), and 26 (population management) for the 2010 fall hunting season during the Saturday portion of its regularly scheduled meeting on Dec. 4-5. The commission orders establish seasons and season dates, bag and possession limits, permit numbers or authorized limits, and open areas.

PIERRE, S.D. - Hunters are reminded that the Antelope Season reopens for antlerless-only hunting during the West River Deer Season. All unfilled antelope tags convert to "doe/fawn" licenses.

The public has an opportunity to attend two more public meetings to help develop the 2010 hunt recommendations for pronghorn antelope, elk, and population management hunts. Constituents interested in particular game management units within those regions will have the opportunity to discuss management direction.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Division of Wildlife reminds young pronghorn hunters who were unsuccessful that a "second chance" hunt is open to them in December. The second chance to hunt is only available to youth hunters 12-17, and only in 21 units located in southeast part of the state where pronghorn herds are over objective.

While numbers remain robust in much of northeastern and eastern Montana?FWP Regions 6 and 7? the hard winter of 2008-09 clearly took a toll on animals in some areas. Consequently, antelope numbers statewide are largely at or below those seen over past few years.
